This is my blog project, I made a Rutgers Maintenance blog that anyone can use to openly share maintenance concerns.
I already posted one of these, but I just figured out how to post it in here. My last one sucked anyway, so I guess it was a blessing in disguise. My name’s Tauhid Al-Farook and I’m a political science major here at Rutgers New Brunswick. I’m twenty-years-old and I’m Bangladeshi, but I was born and raised in the suburbs of South Jersey right outside of Atlantic City. Creative writing has always been one of my favorite subjects, so I was really excited to see how this course was gonna go down. So far it’s pretty dope. My hobbies include playing the guitar/bass, riding motorcycles, and longboarding. I’d love to use this site to interact with intellectuals or just casually. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, right? When you see that’s what Jack Nicholson was writing the whole time, you really know he’s gone bananas. I mean, if you’ve ever read the book, it puts Kubrick’s vision to shame. Really missing a lot of key elements. Like, Jack Nicholson is a great actor and all, but he could have been a lot wilder. I feel like this site isn’t for a stream of consciousness, but if I’m gonna keep it real, I think this blog should reflect how a real conversation with me would be like. Anyway, I’m excited to see how this class is gonna pan out and I look forward to learning with you all. I hope you guys learn more than the brain cells you kill this semester and at the end of the day, become a little more intelligent and, hopefully, a little less cynical.
